EAST graphs
These are some simple graphs drawn from the data collected on EAST.
- Visualise works and authors, linked in three groups:
- links works to authors (a first group),
- links commentaries to base texts,
- a few custom links (e.g., some works of Jñānaśrīmitra and Ratnakīrti are linked). This last set of links is probably biased.
- Works and authors, same as above but without any custom links (i.e., without link group 3).
- Visualise works only
- A simple “neato” layout (but contains a lot of overlaps)
- For Dharmakīrti, there are some visualisations of the commentarial traditions:
- Commentaries as a map
- Commentaries as a tree
- Commentaries as a tree (with Dignāga’s works)
The layout of these graphs is based on examples in the the Graphviz Gallery, in particular https://graphviz.org/Gallery/undirected/gd_1994_2007.html.
