EAST graphs

These are some simple graphs drawn from the data collected on EAST.

• Visualise works and authors, linked in three groups:
  1. links works to authors (a first group),
  2. links commentaries to base texts,
  3. a few custom links (e.g., some works of Jñānaśrīmitra and Ratnakīrti are linked). This last set of links is probably biased.
• Works and authors, same as above but without any custom links (i.e., without link group 3).
• Visualise works only
• A simple “neato” layout (but contains a lot of overlaps)
• For Dharmakīrti, there are some visualisations of the commentarial traditions:
  • Commentaries as a map
  • Commentaries as a tree
  • Commentaries as a tree (with Dignāga’s works)

The layout of these graphs is based on examples in the the Graphviz Gallery, in particular https://graphviz.org/Gallery/undirected/gd_1994_2007.html.
